OSFNA FESTIVAL

The Oromo Sports Federation in North America (OSFNA) is a non-profit organization that organizes an annual week-long festival to celebrate Oromummaa, the Oromo culture, and heritage. The festival brings together Oromos from different walks of life and attracts athletes and fans from around the world.

The festival includes various athletic events such as Men's and Women's soccer tournaments, basketball tournaments, and a 1K race. Additionally, there are cultural events such as concerts, fashion shows, and other activities scheduled throughout the week. In the past, people from as far as Europe and Australia have traveled to take part in the festival.

The previous year's festival was held in the city of Maple Grove, and thousands of people attended the event. The upcoming festival in 2023 will take place in Washington, DC, from July 22nd to July 29th at Montgomery Blair High stadium. This year's festival theme is Summer of Yadanno, which aims to provide an opportunity for Oromos to come together and remember their fallen heroes.

The festival offers a chance for vendors and sponsors to participate and promote their businesses. OSFNA is committed to promoting local businesses and offers advertising and partnership opportunities throughout the festival week. If you are interested in learning more about partnering with or becoming an OSFNA sponsor, you can contact the organization directly at myosfna@gmail.com.
